How do we empower our children to make the world a better place? How do we teach our little ones to lead with love and kindness, facing all of the dilemmas in front of them today?
The answer is found when we turn within and open our hearts…and encourage our children to do the very same.
Join award-winning children’s author, Dr. Jaina Thatch, along with her superhero daughter Isla, on Sunday afternoon, March 29th at First Unity Spiritual Campus, as they present Connecting With Kindness.
As part of this special afternoon, Jaina and Isla will share their inspiring story, a special reading of Jaina’s new children’s book, My Super Hero Mind (which was inspired by Isla), and how we can help our children learn to believe in themselves, connect to their inner superhero, and become more empathic to themselves and to others.
Your child will have the opportunity to create their very own kindness cape, where they will be able to share affirming messages about why they love themselves and what makes them wonderful and special in their own way.
We encourage all children in attendance to share heartfelt and empowering messages on one another’s kindness capes, to spread the healing power of kindness.
At the conclusion of the event, Jaina and Isla will be signing copies of My Super Hero Mind.
Free and open to all children, parents, and families.
