Reverend Serena has been on a more enlightened path and a conscious spiritual life journey since 1991. She was ordained as a Metaphysical, New Thought Minister following several years of study through the offerings of Unity Village Spiritual Education and Enrichment (SEE) classes and two years of study under the Movement of Spiritual Inner Awareness (MSIA).

She is available to provide general ministerial services, such as facilitating weddings, vow renewals, baby-naming ceremonies, celebration of life services, meditation and healing services, and will stand with you in affirmative prayer.

She is a Cosmic Sound Shamaness, incorporating crystal and brass singing bowls, as well as Light Language, into healing arts sessions with clients.

Rev. P. A. Serena Hemmer, MSW, LCSW graduated Summa cum Laude from Capital University with a Bachelor of Social Work degree and received a Master of Social Work degree from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio with a focus on providing counseling for children and adults. She is a Florida Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

Rev. Serena’s career has included establishing an Expressive Arts Clinical Program for youth ages 12 to 21; developing mental health and wellness programs for adults and children living with cancer and their loved ones as Clinical Program Director over seven counties in Ohio; and establishing a private mental health counseling practice first in Ohio in 2007 and in Florida in 2016.  Currently, she provides online telehealth counseling through BetterHelp.com.
