Here at First Unity Spiritual Campus, we offer a superb 350 seat musical, theatrical, or dance venue, complete with dining hall and on-site catering. This venue has been recently upgraded with a new sound system and theatrical lighting. The 5400 sq foot sanctuary offers flexible seating with high ceilings and features a beautiful hardwood platform, plus a separate stage for music. Featuring 3 projectors, with PowerPoint as well as streaming and video playing capabilities. There is ample free parking, and childcare services are also available.

A full kitchen, on-site catering arrangements, and 2000 sq ft reception/dining area, with seating for up to 150 people, are all available along with plenty of tables and chairs or with an open dance floor.

The spacious grounds feature a beautiful rose garden with mural, a bookstore/coffee bar, meditation garden, separate chapel and a large canopy for outside events.

Located in the charming historic area of 4th Street North in sunny St. Petersburg, Florida, First Unity Spiritual Campus has long served many couples by providing spiritual, secular, traditional, and non-traditional wedding ceremonies. We are an inclusive community welcoming couples of all beliefs and honoring marriage equality for all couples. Just as every couple is special and unique, we will co-create your wedding ceremony to suit your personal style and flair.

At First Unity Spiritual Campus we offer several wedding ceremony and reception venues that are ideal for a conventional or contemporary wedding, vow renewal, commitment or re-commitment ceremony.

Our affordable packages ensure everything is just right for your special day:

First Unity Spiritual Campus has multiple venues to host wedding ceremonies year around, including an architecturally stunning octagonal sanctuary with 5200 square feet of space, professional sound and lighting equipment. The Sanctuary, with its soft lighting and wood beams can hold up to 350 guests.

For smaller or more intimate affairs, we host wedding ceremonies in:

Our peaceful Meditation Garden;
Our romantic Rose Garden with a beautiful fountain and mural as a backdrop;
Our outdoor Courtyard beneath a sparkling chandelier;
The lovely Hornaday Educational Annex, with several glittering chandeliers;
Or, our D’Alessandro Chapel.

Lagattuta Hall, with an adjacent full kitchen, is perfect for your both your wedding and reception or simply your reception with 2000 square feet of space, dining seating for 150 and plenty of room for music and dancing. You can also choose to entertain guests with refreshments prior to the reception or for your reception outside under our canopy!

Rev. Jon Scott wedding officiant with a laid back, personable and mellow style. He is passionate about the vows that the couple brings to each other and the love that they share and express through the expression of marriage. His number one priority is their happiness. Rev Jon is a hopeless romantic who truly enjoys being a part of the couple’s special day. He finds the bond of marriage and the demonstration of love an inspiration for all of humanity.

He considers it a great honor to be able to bestow his blessings onto the unions of his clients and is humbled to be part of each and every magical moment.

Memorials

Our sacred spaces are perfect for Celebration of Life Ceremonies. Our staff is able to assist you as you make decisions to honor your loved one. We are able to offer some if not more options than a funeral home especially if your loved one is being cremated – we can offer all other needs.

We have a sanctuary and ample parking, musicians of all ranges, DVD and PowerPoint media presentations and a café for receptions and community gatherings.

Often, we are reminded that the celebration is more for those who are still here – let us offer you comfort by taking all the details and planning away from you.

Christenings

At First Unity Spiritual Campus, we offer beautiful christenings for newborns, children and adults. Our choices of space allow you and your family to experience either the comfort of indoors or a number of outdoor settings for up to 75 people.
